Drivers are facing major delays after a three-car crash close to Glasgow Airport.
The incident occurred at about 4.15pm on J28 on the M8.
Three lanes eastbound were closed following the incident and police are currently on the scene.
However, as of 5.30pm all lanes are now reopen to motorists while emergency services continue to deal with the incident.
It is understood three vehicles were involved in the smash, with one overturning on the motorway.
Traffic Scotland has advised drivers to expect delays if driving on the road and avoid the area if possible.
It is understood the incident is having a significant effect on traffic in surrounding areas.
