TRAINS in the Highlands have been cancelled after a tree blocked the railway line, with services to Glasgow disrupted.
A tree is blocking the line between Ardlui and Garelochhead, meaning trains cannot run until it has been cleared and an inspection carried out, ScotRail have confirmed.
Passengers on services between Glasgow Queen Street and Oban on the West Highland Main Line have been told "two Photoflash coaches are due at Crianlarich for 10am".
The rail operator said: "We've had reports of a tree blocking the line between Ardlui and Garelochead. Unfortunately, that means we can't run trains until this has been cleared and an inspection carried out.
"Once we have more information from our staff on the ground we will keep you updated."
