A pair of major letting deals have been secured for a landmark office building in Old Trafford.
AM London Fashion has taken 16,390 sq ft of space at Oakland House in Talbot Road on a 10-year lease after relocating from City Approach in Eccles.
The fashion business, which was formed in 2014, will be moving onto the third and fourth floors which have been fully refurbished by the landlord.
Audio branding agency PHMG, which is already based at in the building, has committed to an additional 10,926 sq ft of space on the sixth floor.
The deals were secured by London & Scottish Property Investment Management, which was represented by Cushman & Wakefield.
Harry Skinner, associate at Cushman & Wakefield in Manchester, said: “We are delighted to complete two of the largest lettings in Old Trafford in recent times despite challenging market conditions.
“The lettings demonstrate that there remains demand for space in the region for high quality buildings with good public transport links.
“Oakland House is now close to full occupation which is testament to the recent upgrades the landlord has made to the building.”
Stephen Griffiths, head of asset management at London & Scottish, added: “We warmly welcome AM London Fashion to Oakland House, a property that we not only manage but also occupy as tenants.
“The building is now 88 per cent let with 18,541 sq ft of available space available which can be split down to suit requirements from 1,000 sq ft to 18,541 sq ft.”
