A "major concert" in 2020 is set to be announced for Cork in the coming days.
MCD Productions today sent out media invites for a press conference in the Metropole Hotel in Cork city on Monday, November 11 at 1pm.
The notice reads that the conference is "to announce a major concert for 2020".
MCD Productions asks media to note that the "artist will be in attendance".
A likely location for the gig is Pairc Ui Chaoimh and there is a host of stars and bands who could play Cork next year.
In September it was announced that Westlife will take to the stage there to play a huge open air gig in August 2020.
The band quickly followed this up with a second date due to "phenomenal" demand.
