Emergency services are currently attending a major accident on the A77.
Police, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and the Scottish Ambulance Service are currently at the scene.
The Ayrshire road just after Bogend Toll was fully closed in both directions earlier this evening but it's understood that only the northbound carriageway is currently affected by the serious smash.
However, the latest information from Traffic Scotland at 6pm said the road was still closed in both directions.
