Maison Margiela Tabis have experienced a much-deserved resurgence lately thanks to one intrepid TikToker. Of course, the shoes have been trending among fashion folk for decades. Now the must-have footwear is traveling to the metaverse.
Premium digital fashion platform The Fabricant is collaborating with the French fashion house on MetaTABI. It's a way to bring the iconic split-toe silhouette to the next (virtual) level. The collection will be rolled out in two tiers starting March 26. That's not all, though. There will also be physical tie-ins and token-centered benefits.
