Mairead Ronan the picture of elegance at Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby

Mairead Ronan was the picture of elegance when she stepped out with husband Louis at the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby.

The swanky event, which included a fashion competition, a food paddock and music village, saw various Irish celebrities wear their finest attire and RSVP Live simply loved Dancing With The Stars champion Mairead's look.

Classy as ever, RSVP said the broadcaster stole the show in a black and white one-shoulder polka dot dress complete with a stylish fascinator hat.

Mairead wore her glossy brown hair straight and looked gorgeous smiling alongside her husband Louis, who donned a sharp suit for the occasion.

Other celebrities who attended the event included fashionista Lorraine Keane, radiant in a patterned jumpsuit and floral headpiece.

Also there on the day was model Celia Holman-Lee, who impressed once again in a figure-hugging pale yellow dress.

It's been a busy time for Mairead and her family as this summer they moved from Glasnevin into their dream home in Clontarf, Dublin.

Speaking to RSVP Live about the move, she revealed: "I have had the craziest week ever.

"The packing up has already started, we pack the kids away tomorrow- not in a box, they are off to my parents.

"We have so much to do. We have to clear it out because it is rented and it needs to be ready for the landlord," Mairead added.

It was an emotional few days for the RTE presenter and she says that it is the end of an era for them as a family.

"Dara and I moved into that house on our own and Louis joined us maybe a year later. And then Murphy the dog joined and Eliza and Bonnie came along.

"It has been a good house for us," she explained.

The mum-of-three continued: "I will be closing the door happy with the time we have had there. I have always felt that it has been a lucky house for me but I cannot wait to get to our home.

"We are going to something that is ours and we don’t ever have to move out unless we want to."

And what is the one thing she loves about her new place?

"Storage space, storage space and more storage space. Never estimate the power of storage space."
