A maintenance worker died after being struck by a truck Saturday in Hoffman Estates.
The crash happened about 12:37 p.m. in the 1000 block of Valley Lane, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Domingo Duran Soriano, 78, was pronounced dead at 11:22 p.m. at Lutheran General Hospital, the medical examiner’s office said. He lived in Hanover Park.
An autopsy found he died of injuries from the crash and ruled his death an accident, the medical examiner’s office said.
Hoffman Estates police did not immediately respond to a request for details.
