Firefighters rushed to the scene yesterday after a huge blaze broke out on the Main Street of a popular North Dublin town.
Three units attended a "well developed" fire at a derelict house on Balbriggan Main Street.
The street was closed off yesterday as three engines attended the scene as well as the ESB.
It was soon brought under control.
The Dublin Fire Brigade said: ""Today firefighters from Balbriggan, Skerries & Swords stations fought a well developed fire on Main St, Balbriggan in a vacant building. "
"Three fire engines on scene with and thanks to ESB for help."
The incident was broadcast live on popular local page Balbriggan Info .
The footage shows the firefighters clearing up following their heroic efforts.
Gardai confirmed they are now working to find out the cause of the fire.
A spokesman said: "Gardai and Fire Personnel attended a fire at a derelict building at Georges Court, Balbriggan, Co Dublin at approximately 2.30pm yesterday afternoon, Sunday 27 October 2019.
"Damage was caused to the inside of the building and the roof,
"Investigations are now underway to establish the cause of the fire."
