A main road in Nottingham city centre has been closed due to a 'major police incident'.
The incident was reported around 1.35pm on Monday, October 12.
Milton Street, which runs past the Victoria Centre, has been closed from its junction with Shakespeare Street to its junction with Parliament Street.
Nottingham City Council's network management team states "major delays expected".
The road is a busy bus route and a large number of services have been affected by the road closure.
Nottingham City Transport (NCT) tweeted: "There is an incident in the City Centre with Milton St closed.
"Brown 15, 16, 17 - Use South Sherwood St (by the Uni) Pink 28, 30, 31 & Orange 35, 36 - Use Burton St (down the side of the Cornerhouse) Sky Blue 45, 46, 47 are unable to serve the Rose of England or Huntingdon St.
"Lime 56, 57, 58, 59 - Cannot serve the stop named Rose of England Yellow 68, 69, 70, 71 - Please use South Sherwood Street (side of Uni) Purple 87, 88, 89 - cannot serve the stop named Rose of England."
