Maidstone stabbing: Four arrested after man, 21, knifed to death on high street

Four men from London have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 21-year-old man was knifed to death on a high street in Maidstone.

Police were called to a disturbance involving a number of people in Maidstone High Street at 3am on Sunday.

A 21-year-old man was found with stab injuries and pronounced dead at the scene.

Four men were injured and taken to hospital.

A video from the scene shared on Facebook shows a fight breaking out between a group of men as others watch on. A man who appears to be a security guard can be seen trying to disperse the crowds.

A man is then seen lying motionless on the ground as a group of people check on him.

A 23-year-old man, two 21-year-old men and a 19-year-old man were arrested and remain in custody.

The street remained closed on Sunday morning while officers investigated the incident.

The incident is the third fatal stabbing in the UK in three days.

A 32-year-old man died from knife injuries in Birmingham on Friday evening. A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder.

A man in his 60s was stabbed to death in Southall, west London, on Saturday evening. A witness said he begged to see his wife before he died of his injuries.
