Maid-of-honour surprises bride with wedding bouquet made from chicken nuggets

A bride surprised her guests by tipping her head back and chomping on a wedding bouquet made out of chicken nuggets.

Earlier this month Blair Hardy tied the knot with Adam Tyson at a hotel in Ohio, USA.

All was going as one might expect until the gathered masses sat down for the wedding breakfast.

While friends and family were treated to upmarket cuisine, Blair was served a plate of nuggets and fries.

It transpired the bride had paid extra to be able to tuck into her favourite meal on her big day.

Maid-of-honour Jenna Spetz decided to take things further by incorporating Blair's well known love of nuggets into the bouquet.

She called on food company Tyson's which, perhaps noticing the couple's name, decided to go all out.

Not only did they build a big bunch of blooms out of dead poultry meat, they sent nuggets over for all the guests and a year's supply of chicken for the happy couple.

Jenna unveiled the wedding present to remember during her maid of honour speech.

“Blair’s reaction was priceless," the firm friend told Business Insider.

"She was grinning from ear to ear and giggling.

“Blair of course ate the dino-nuggets from the toast immediately."

Jenna then made a vegetarian-unfriendly toast to the newly weds by passing round nuggets to those present.

Jenna later posted about the chicken-themed wedding on  Instagram .

“A HUGE thank you to @tysonbrand for helping me pull off this EPIC nugget toast!" she wrote.

“I think the brides more excited for nugs than her new hubby!”

The gesture was hugely appreciated by Blair, who met her husband four years ago at the University of Toledo.

She wrote beneath her friend's Intagram post: "Best freaking speech EVER.️ Love you SO much!!"

“I was completely shocked," Blair later told the Toledo Blade.

“Who would have thought a girl loving chicken nuggets so much and having them at her wedding would go this far?”
