Mahrez and Torres to start - How fans would like Man City to line up against PSG

Manchester City will take on big-spending PSG on Tuesday evening as they look to extend their 100 per cent record in the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League group stages.

Pep Guardiola's men were beaten in the final of the competition last season and are keen to go one step further this term.

The Citizens made the perfect start a fortnight ago when they beat German outfit RB Leipzig 6-3 at the Etihad Stadium and will head to Paris full of confidence off the back of a vital 1-0 win over Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday.

However, they will be under no illusions over the difficulty of the task facing them in Paris - whose attacking talents of Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr and Kylian Mbappe are the envy of world football.

Guardiola has been known to tinker with his lineup ahead of big games in the past and that was recognised by City fans when they were asked who would make their starting XI at the Parc des Princes this evening.

When asked to choose their starting XIs, City fans would like to make two changes to the side who beat Chelsea - according to the results of the Manchester Evening News' interactive team selector tool.

Ederson would retain his place in goal behind a back four of Kyle Walker, Ruben Dias, Aymeric Laporte and Joao Cancelo, who all also started in the win at Stamford Bridge.

City fans would also like to see the midfield trio of Rodri, Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne unchanged but they would make two changes to the frontline.

Jack Grealish would keep his place on the left of the front three and would be joined by Riyad Mahrez on the right flank and Ferran Torres as a central forward, replacing Gabriel Jesus and Phil Foden as a result.
