Mahrez and Stones in — Man City fans' line up they want to see vs Club Brugge

Manchester City fans want to see Pep Guardiola make four changes for Wednesday's match against Club Brugge.

City will be aiming to go within a point of qualifying for the Champions League knockout stages with a win against the Belgians at the Etiahd.

With the Manchester derby coming up on Saturday, it will also be important for Pep Guardiola's side to get back to winning ways after a difficult week, as well as rotating his side somewhat.

City were eliminated from the Carabao Cup for the first time in over five years and then suffered a shock 2-0 defeat at home to Crystal Palace.

It was a poor performance from the Blues and supporters think a few changes are needed to the starting 11 to ensure the team once again breeze past Brugge.

Fans want to see Aymeric Laporte dropped after his dismal display on Saturday. His mistake led to the opening goal and he was then later sent off for dragging down scorer Wilfried Zaha as he was about to go through on goal.

John Stones, who will likely play against Manchester United with Laporte suspended, is the man fans want to replace the Spain international.

Aleks Zinchenko would also come in if fans got their way, to give Joao Cancelo a rest, joining Kyle Walker and Ruben Dias in the backline.

Supporters think Kevin De Bruyne and Rodri should also remain in the team, but Bernardo Silva should be saved for Saturday, with Ilkay Gundogan coming in.

They only want one change in attack as well, with Phil Foden being given the night off and Riyad Mahrez coming in to join Gabriel Jesus and Jack Grealish.

Man City team fans want to see vs Brugge: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Stones, Zinchenko, De Bruyne, Rodri, Gundogan, Mahrez, Jesus, Grealish.
