Are you a fan of breakfast cereals and the Kansas City Chiefs?
There’s a mashup that has been in the works for while now, one that is coming to Hy-Vee store near you. Back in December, Leigh Steinberg unveiled that Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes had some endorsement deals in the works.
Mahomes signed a multi-year endorsement deal with Hy-Vee foods in April. The deal includes in-store appearances, commercials and the development of his own brand of breakfast cereal. The NFL’s reigning MVP has joined forces with Hy-Vee to put some magic in your breakfast cereal. It had a different name back at its inception, but now the cereal is known as “Mahomes Magic Crunch.”

The cereal will only be available at Hy-Vee stores across the Midwest in states like Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin. According to Steinberg, it’s a low-sugar breakfast cereal, so if you’re a fan of the sugary ones, this might not be for you.
The cereal is set to release in Hy-Vee stores on Thursday, Aug. 1. There are already some displays popping up at select stores, so hurry and pick up the first run of cereal while supplies last.
