Maharashtra: Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis to probe threat call to CM Eknath Shinde

THANE: The threat call incident to chief minister Eknath Shinde will be probed by deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, BJP MLA Pravin Darekar said on Sunday.

The former leader of opposition was in Thane and told media persons that several anti-national and anti-social elements have started fearing the new government led by Shinde and fadnavis. This threat apparently hints at their insecurity and we will not rest till such elements are punished. Fadnavis is likely to launch a probe and get to the root of the matter," he said.

Speaking on the Dussehra rally, Darekar said that the Thackeray congregation would not be for propogating of Hindutva but for Congress and NCP. "It is likely to be an assembly of NCP Congress, aimim, and SP activists who are against the BJP. The true Hindutva legacy of Balasaheb Thackery is being carried forward by Shinde and the real Dussehra rally will be at BKC," he said.

Darekar flagged of an event initiated by city BJP President MLC Niranjan Davkhare wherein prominent donors from the city came together to adopt 400 tuberculosis affected patients

"These donors have readily agreed to participate and take care of all medical needs of TB affected patients. while we have provided assistance to nearly 400 patients, work is on to bring another 4000 patients under this program. We will soon make Thane, TB free city, in the coming months," said Davkhare.
