Magnum launch world's first ruby chocolate ice cream and it's available at Tesco

If you've already started your January health kick, we suggest you look away now.

Luxury ice cream brand Magnum has launched the world's first ruby chocolate frozen treat that's set to tempt sweet-toothed shoppers everywhere.

The new Magnum Ruby is made with white chocolate ice cream with a raspberry sauce swirl, which is richly coated in ruby chocolate.

And it's already available in supermarkets, with Tesco selling a three-pack for £3.69 in stores and online .

Hungry shoppers can also pick up a box of six mini sticks for £3.89 and a single stick for £2.

Ruby is the world's fourth type of chocolate - after dark, milk and white - and was created by high-quality chocolate producer Barry Callebaut, who spent over a decade perfecting the recipe.

Crafted with ruby bean, the naturally present flavour and colour tone of the chocolate means that it's free from artificial colours and fruit flavourings. It boasts a fruity berry flavour with tangy notes.

Magnum is the first brand to pair its ice cream with ruby chocolate, meaning shoppers all over the UK will be the first to try it.

The new frozen treat is even wrapped in ruby-coloured packaging with striking gold foil details.

You'll need to be quick, though, as it's expected to sell out quickly.
