The son of late magician Paul Daniels has paid tribute to his dad on the fourth anniversary of his death.
Gary Daniels posted a picture to Instagram of him with his dad who tragically passed away in 2016 after being diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of 77.
In the picture Paul can be seen wearing a smart black suit with a white shirt and pocket handkerchief with Gary at his side.
Accompanying the image, Gary wrote: “4 years on and still in my thoughts everyday.
“They say it gets easier, it doesn’t you just learn to handle it easier. Miss you dad.”
Gary announced his dad’s death on Twitter
with a picture of a crying white rabbit in a magician's hat with the words: “It is with incredible sadness that I can confirm that Dad, @thepauldaniels, passed away over night.”
He passed away peacefully with wife Debbie McGee at his side after coming home to "see out his final days".
The beloved magician had returned home to spend his final ways with loved ones after being treated at the Royal Berkshire Hospital.
Before his death, the magician encouraged members of the public to donate money for research into cancer.
In November 2016, Gary said the public had helped the family raise over £30,000.
Around £20,000 was donated to Brain Tumour Research, whilst the rest was split between Royal Berks charity, Grand Order of Water Rats and the Royal Theatrical Fund.
Over the years, Daniels lent his time and support to various charities.
He took part in numerous charity events, especially those with children at their heart and was a frequent visitor to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
