Magical moment Irish boy celebrates picking winning horse in Irish Grand National

There were jubilant scenes in Swords, Dublin on Tuesday when nine-year-old Jake Delaney picked out the winner of the Irish Grand National at a whopping of 150-1.

Jake's father placed a €1 each way bet on the outsider Freewheelin Dylan, who defied odds to lead from the front and win the Boylesports Irish Grand National.

In the video Jake and his family are watching the race together at home.

Jake becomes more and more excited as the race goes on with Freewheelin Dylan maintaining his lead as he jumps the last few fences.

The video has been viewed over 100,000 times on our Facebook page, with many congratulating Jake on his winnings.

One commented 'Brilliant, this would brighten anyones day' while another said 'this just makes me so happy to see someone be this delighted'.

Speaking to Jake's brother Eric who took the video ,he revealed how Jake decided to celebrate:

"The bet was placed by our dad with a €1 each way bet.

"I couldn't believe it when the horse came through.

"Jake celebrated by ringing his granddad straight away and then spent the rest of the day boasting to the family."
