Magical 'hobbit house' for sale in corner of countryside - but it's not going cheap

Don't forget to duck when you enter! Ideal for hobbits, goblins and dwarves....but possibly not Peter Crouch!

This dinky dwelling in a magical corner of the Welsh countryside that hides a community of properties affectionately known as hobbit houses.

It’s not The Shire from the famous Lord of the Rings books and films - but a collection of substantial smallholdings and eco-dwellings called Lammas Eco-village in the heart of Pembrokeshire.

And this pretty pink house has just come on to the market and comes with ancillary buildings, stables, about three and a half acres of land and three acres of woodland too.

The property, its support buildings, land and woodland is on the market for £320,000 (Yopa / Zoopla)

It comes with planning permission for a four-bedroom house for taller buyers.

The eco-village became famous when a couple building their own hobbit house in the village appeared on Channel 4’s popular property programme, Grand Designs.

That might explain why the property, its support buildings, land and woodland plus its very special location and way of life is on the market for a rather grand price of £320,000.
