Magical Christmas teepees bringing festive joy to Merseyside families

These magical Christmas teepees are bringing festive joy to families across Merseyside after appearing on Instagram.

The woman behind them, Steph Clarke, has been overwhelmed by the demand for her Christmas-themed tents.

The festive teepees feature twinkly fairy lights, gingerbread cushions, Christmas decorations, a memory foam mattress, fresh bedding and pillow plus little tray tables with red lanterns, cookies and milk to complete the cosy surroundings.

Steph started her teepee company, Little Dreamers Teepee Parties, based in Wirral, back in 2017.

Since then Steph, from Upton, has seen the popularity of her bespoke themed teepees continue to rise across Liverpool, Wirral, Chester and North Wales.

The 30-year-old told the ECHO: "I first saw them about six or seven years ago, when my niece who lives in Australia had them for a birthday party.

"I was just captured by my niece's reaction, it was just magical. Her face just lit up and I thought I've got to do that."

Steph was on maternity leave from her IT job, with her son Bobby, now aged four, when she was made redundant and decided to use that money so start her business. She also has another son Samuel who is nearly two.

She said: "My little ones were only tiny when I first started out, so I wasn't sure how it would go. But the reaction to the business was amazing as we were the first in Wirral to open. I only started out part-time but it's been so successful I'm doing it full time now.

"The kids' reactions when they see the teepees are magical and it's so rewarding. I'm met some of the nicest families that keep coming back.

"Before lockdown, families hired them for a special occasion, a birthday or a baby shower, but now they are ordering them for a treat, just because they need cheering up."

Not only does Steph offer Christmas teepees, but she also has a theme for every occasion including the jungle, mermaids, unicorns, football, pirates, dinosaurs and even Fortnite.

And they're not just for kids. Steph has also hired them out for the whole family, bridal showers and luxe picnics.

The mum-of-two added: "We started with eight teepees to 15 and just four themes and now we have 10. We also offer bespoke themes, do our own personalised balloons and treat boxes."

The themed tents start from £35 per teepee and although the Christmas teepees are currently fully booked, Steph is offering gift vouchers which can be redeemed for a teepee experience.
