DALLAS _ The Orlando Magic will hold Aaron Gordon out of their starting lineup Tuesday night against the Dallas Mavericks because of what team officials labeled "a violation of team rules."
A source said Gordon arrived late for the Magic's flight to Dallas following practice Monday.
Coach Frank Vogel will employ a starting lineup of Elfrid Payton, Jonathon Simmons, Evan Fournier, Mario Hezonja and Bismack Biyombo, with Hezonja occupying Gordon's customary spot at power forward.
So far this season, Gordon has been a starter in every game he was healthy enough to play.
The Magic carried a four-game losing streak into the game, and they have lost 24 of their last 28 games.
