ORLANDO, Fla. _ The Orlando Magic continue to surge toward ending the franchise's six-year playoff drought.
They made a big statement on Monday night.
Nikola Vucevic scored 28 points and Evan Fournier finished with 24 points _ 20 in the second half _ as the Magic delivered an emphatic 119-98 win over the Philadelphia 76ers at Amway Center.
The win extended the Magic's win streak to five games _ their second such streak of the season _ and their home win streak to seven.
Michael Carter-Williams added 15 points for the Magic, who moved within half a game of the eighth-place Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference standings. The teams meet Tuesday night in Miami as they close out their regular-season series.
The Magic (36-38) overwhelmed the 76ers (47-27) in the second half, outscoring them 62-38.
Orlando went on a 30-5 run during an 11:42 stretch from the third quarter into the fourth to pull away from a Philadelphia team that had won six of its past seven games.
The 76ers missed 15 straight field goals at one point.
That came after a blistering first half that saw them shoot 61.5 percent (24 of 39) and lead 60-57 at the break. It was the highest first-half field-goal percentage the Magic allowed this season. The 76ers also had the previous high of 61.4 percent, set March 5 in Philadelphia.
76ers All-Star point guard Ben Simmons did not play due to a stomach virus.
Former Magic fan favorite JJ Redick, who has hit multiple game winning shots against Orlando in the past, was limited to eight points on 1 of 7 shooting from 3-point range.
