ORLANDO, Fla. _ Evan Fournier scored a season-high 26 points and Terrence Ross had 18 of his 20 points in the second half as the Orlando Magic rallied to beat the San Antonio Spurs 111-109 on Friday night at Amway Center.
The Magic (5-7) improved to 3-1 on their current five-game homestand and 5-3 overall at Amway this season.
Aaron Gordon had 14 points, Markelle Fultz and Al-Farouq Aminu each had 13 points and Nikola Vucevic and D.J. Augustin each had 10 points for the Magic, who reached 100 points for the fifth straight game.
DeMar DeRozan led the Spurs with 21 points but also committed a flagrant foul against Gordon with 13.2 seconds to play. Gordon made both free-throw attempts, and the Magic retained possession. That led to a free throw by Vucevic.
The Magic played without forward Jonathan Isaac, who sprained his right ankle on Thursday night during the team's City Edition uniform unveiling event at the NBA Experience at Disney Springs.
Aminu started for Isaac and delivered a double-double with 13 rebounds to go with his 13 points.
The Magic found themselves trailing 99-92 with 4:42 remaining before Vucevic made a hook shot, Ross sank a 3 and Augustin knocked down a floater in the lane to forge a tie.
Fournier then hit a 3 to break a 104-104 tie and put the Magic ahead to stay with 2:23 remaining.
The Magic used a 16-6 run over a 5:11 stretch of the third quarter to climb back into contention. Ross capped the burst with a jumper to put the Magic ahead 73-72.
The Magic return to action Sunday when they take on the Washington Wizards at 6 p.m. at Amway Center. The game concludes the Magic's longest homestand of the season.
