ORLANDO, Fla. _ Amway Center roared to life during Orlando's first home NBA playoff game since 2012, but it wasn't enough to score a victory.
Pascal Siakam scored a game-high 30 points and the Toronto Raptors held off the Magic for a 98-93 victory in Game 3 Friday night, claiming a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 opening-round series.
The series resumes Sunday at Amway with Game 4. Tipoff is at 7 p.m.
Terrence Ross scored 24 points and Nikola Vucevic had 22 _ his highest total of the series _ to pace the Magic, who didn't claim a lead until the third quarter and never gave up.
Down 86-69 with 7:48 to play, the Magic rallied with a 19-8 burst capped by a Ross 3 with 1:56 to play.
He later hit another 3 to make it 96-93 with 41.4 seconds left.
The Raptors sealed the victory when Kyle Lowry came up with an offensive rebound that led to two Kawhi Leonard free throws, giving Toronto a 98-93 lead with 12.9 seconds to play.
Ross misfired on a 3. Vucevic deflected the rebound to Evan Fournier, who missed another 3-point attempt as the Magic saw their nine-game home win streak come to an end.
Leonard, who had scored more than 30 points per game during the first games of the series, finished with just 16 points on 5-for-19 shooting.
The Magic shot 36.3 percent from the field, but hit 13 3-pointers and were 22 for 23 from the free-throw line to stay in it.
The Raptors made 10 more field goals but were 9 for 10 from the foul line.
