More details have been revealed over when Liverpool's ONE new restaurant will finally be opening its doors.
The team behind the already hugely popular South Liverpool restaurant, Maggie Fu confirmed earlier this year plans to open a second site in Liverpool ONE.
The new site will become a flagship for Maggie Fu and will cover 4,700 sq ft of space and operating over two floors, which will no doubt come as a relief to many fans as its Smithdown Road site is in that much demand, wait times for a table reach the two hour mark earlier this week.
Signage went up at the Liverpool ONE site confirming the team would be taking over a unit on Hanover Street that was once home to Evans Cycles.
Fans who are desperate for Maggie Fu to open its bigger site still have a while to wait with the team confirming today the opening will in around two-three months.
Although it was confirmed the aim is to get the site opened before Christmas.
Speaking when the news was announced that Maggie Fu's would be joining Liverpool ONE earlier this year, Lee Boon, on behalf of Maggie Fu said: “We have grown a very loyal following in the two years since we launched, giving us the confidence to open a flagship restaurant in a prime city centre location. Liverpool ONE’s Hanover Street is perfect.
"We have great neighbours and will benefit from high Liverpool ONE’s footfall, complemented by the residential and leisure offer in Rope Walks.
"We are ready to welcome existing and new customers later this year.”
