The Magda Butrym x H&M collection is finally live, and it's selling fast, so you'd better be quick if you want to own one of the designer's signature floral pieces.
For its Spring/Summer 2025 collaboration, H&M has tapped Polish brand Magda Butrym. The collection, which includes plenty of ready-to-wear pieces, accessories, and jewellery, is now available online and in select stores.

I've never met an appliqué floral piece I didn't love, so when trying on pieces from the H&M X Magda Butrym collection, I was delighted to see that this detail had been kept in the majority of the pieces. True to Butrym's romantic aesthetic, the embellishments bring a tactile richness that elevates each piece.
I love that they have chosen to make this collection body inclusive, with pieces going up to a UK 26. The internal corseting on the padded hip mini dresses were a beautiful touch as it creates gorgeously sculpted, feminine silhouettes that celebrate curves rather than conceal them. My favourite pieces were the silver sequinned maxi dress, the pink ruched mini dress and the rose appliqué mini dress.

I was so impressed by this collection—it’s proper Magda Butrym, but at a fraction of the usual price. The silver sequin gown immediately caught my eye: it’s even sparklier in real life, and has a flower embellishment on the hip as well as a major leg slit. I am a UK 12 with big boobs so opted for an L, which was significantly oversized but in a way that made the whole look feel cooler, especially with the blazer on top.
The little pink top with floral detail is also high on my wish-list. It feels fabulously Y2K, and is perfect paired with baggy jeans or tailored trousers for a high-low, going-out look. That said, the unexpected standout for me was the tailoring: cut beautifully, perfectly oversized and made from proper wool, the blazer and trousers are the first thing I’ll be buying from this collection—and what I know I’ll wear most.

Being eight months pregnant, I didn't think there would be anything for me in the collection, and was prepared to experience major FOMO during this try-on. I needn't have worried.
I immediately made a beeline for the signature Magda pieces: a red bodycon dress with 3D floral detail, and the red and black floral bodysuit and leggings. Both offered incredible stretch, I'm usually a size 6, and went for a size S in both. I wouldn't wear them too much in pregnancy so as to avoid stretching the fabric out of shape, but they will be perfect post-partum.
I paired them with my two favourite pieces in the collection: the leather coat, which has incredibly cut in an 80s masculine way, and the blazer, which I know was a hit with the whole team.

These baggy jeans are perfect in every way: comfortable, chic, and elevated enough for daily use. I decided to pair them with a long-sleeve semi-sheer top featuring Magda Butrym’s classic rosette motif. To finish the look, I opted for a pair of silver cascading earrings and a rose-printed scrunchie to add some extra drama.
Loungewear is my go-to for everyday errands, long-haul flights, and WFH days. This cherry-red set is the ultimate way to dress up this otherwise mundane wardrobe staple. Featuring a cropped drawstring hemline on the hoodie and a darted silhouette throughout the leg, it feels comfortable yet very flattering, and most importantly, chic.

Magda Butrym is known for her figure-hugging jersey dresses but they're quite an investment, so to be able to buy one at this price point is such a win. This dress was so easy to get on, and it hugged my curves in all the right places. Furthermore, this rose print works both with and without tights so can be worn all year round. I loved styling the dress with the matching satin blazer but it would work really well as a spring cover-up over a pair of jeans and a simple tee.
Magda's tailoring is some of my absolute favourite and this blazer is incredible with its oversized shoulders. I'm a bit of a magpie so I had to try on this sequin dress and despite the super short hemline, the hidden structure and scaffolding inside make it incredibly comfortable to wear. When styled with the oversized blazer it also makes it feel more undone.
