MAFS UK's Josh fears upsetting Amy as he makes 'selfish' decision at vow renewals

Married At First Sight UK's Josh Christie has admitted he'll be making a 'selfish' decision ahead of his vow renewals with Amy Christophers.

In a teaser clip released by E4, the couple can be seen preparing for their big day as they decide whether or not to continue their relationship away from the cameras.

Former glamour model Amy is getting ready as she admits: "I was tossing and turning, just thinking about all the things that could go wrong today.

"The fact that one of us could make the wrong decision, absolutely terrifies me," she adds.

Looking suave in a white suit, Josh is heard saying: "There's been ups, there's been downs, there's been tears. I've literally given everything I have to offer.

"This is a time where I need to be selfish and think about myself and think about my future and if I can see Amy in it or not.

"My decision today is based totally on that. I really don't want to make Amy upset so I just hope she agrees with the choice that I've made," he adds.

"When Josh left I was pretty sad, but with the vow renewals coming up, I did have to think about all the bad things that we've been through in our relationship, and how I've felt going through that," Amy then says.

"I needed to weigh up whether I could get over those bad things long term. Do I go full self-defence mode? Or do I go with my heart?" the pretty brunette asks.

Amy and Josh's vow renewal ceremony comes after she told The Mirror that she wasn't happy with how the E4 show has portrayed her and the arguments she's had with Josh.

Referring to an awkward moment they had during their home stay in London, Amy said: "They're not showing any context and then the bread thing... that was the day I just lost my rag with the whole process and I wanted to leave.

"I just feel like I've been portrayed in a certain way and I'm really not like that. How you saw me on the final date, laughing and giggling, we're like two kids. Don't grow up, it's a trap. I want to stay young at heart forever," she added.

Married At First Sight UK continues tonight at 9pm on E4.
