MAFS UK's Chanita says she's 'cut ties' with Jordan after giving him a second chance

Married at First Sight UK alum Chanita Stephenson has said she gave 'ex-husband' Jordan Emmett-Connelly "another chance" following the E4 marital experiment.

Chanita, 29, had been paired up with Jordan, also 29, on the popular reality TV show but their romance ended during the process, with them ending the show separated.

Speaking about their relationship on Heart Breakfast this morning, Chanita said she had given him a second chance after the experiment but they're now "just friends".

Asked about the state of their relationship now, she said: "After the experiment, I did give Jordan another chance, but he just..." She added: "Yeah so we're friends, just friends".

Chanita made the remark to Heart FM radio presenters Amanda Holden, 51, and Jamie Theakston, 51, as she was asked about her dating life now.

She explained that there is "not a lot" happening in terms of her dating people since appearing on the show. She said she's only recently "cut ties" with Jordan romantically.

Chanita explained: "It's only recently that I cut my ties with Jordan in that sense, and we've been friends". She added: "So I've kind of taken a step back and gone with the flow".
