(Picture: Channel 4)

Married at First Sight UK is back for a brand new season — and the 16 singles hoping to find love have now been revealed.

The “bigger and bolder” series, in which eight couples get married the first time they meet, and then try to navigate their new marriage, will air for 30 episodes this autumn.

Experts Mel Schilling, Paul C Brunson and Charlene Douglas will lead them through the experiment, as they go on honeymoon, move in together, and attend the infamous dinner parties with the rest of the couples.

The seventh season of MAFS UK is coming soon to E4 and All4, but until then, find out below what you need to know about this year’s contestants.

Adrian, 37, is a digital designer from Manchester. A “confident and caring northerner with a heart of gold”, Adrian is a creative person who expresses himself through fashion.

He hasn’t had the best experience with relationships, because he believes people take advantage of his nice guy persona.

But after being a serial dater for three years, Adrian is ready to settle down with an “upbeat and positive partner who’ll make him laugh, be up for an adventure and, most importantly, be someone he can trust”.

Duka

Duka is a recruitment HR coordinator from Birmingham (Channel 4)

Duka’s struggles growing up mean he “finds it difficult to let people in and puts up his guard when people start to get close emotionally”.

However, he’s a “man about town” and says “women fall at his feet”, although he says he goes for “superficial” girls and “gets bored of them easily”.

He’s looking for an “Instagram girl” who can also “have a deep conversation about world issues”.

George

George is a financial adviser from Worcester (Channel 4)

George, 40, is a financial adviser from Worcester. He’s a dedicated father of four children who has struggled to find “that special someone” after his divorce.

He wants “someone who excites him, someone to keep him on his toes and who can be open emotionally”.

Jordan

Jordan is an account manager from Darlington (Channel 4)

Jordan is a 29-year-old account manager from Darlington. He’s a “fun, outgoing guy with a massive sense of adventure”.

He says he’s “a great catch” because he owns his home, has a great job, is close to his family and does all his own cooking.

When it comes to relationships, “he is not willing to settle with someone and cruise through life for the sake of being comfortable”. Instead, Jordan wants to find true love and a real connection.

He thinks he’s single because he’s “too particular about what he wants” and “knows he needs to relax and give girls more of a chance”.

Kwame

Kwame is a business consultant from London (Channel 4)

Forty-two-year-old Kwame is a “confident and sophisticated” business consultant from London.

He says his mum and his sister are his best friends, and says his future wife will need his mum’s seal of approval.

April

Thirty-two-year-old April, from London, is a wedding dress designer, whose friends describe her as “always the bridal designer, never the bride”.

Kasia is a 36-year-old businesswoman from London, who with “sheer graft and determination” has managed to raise two children and launch a “successful body contouring clinic”.
