A former reality television contestant and 10 other people are facing a committal hearing over an alleged multi-million dollar telemarketing scam.

Married at First Sight groom Daniel Phillip Webb, nine men and one woman are charged with fraud, while some also face charges of money laundering.

The prosecution argues the scam raked in about $24 million.

About 500 people are listed on the witness list for a trial, with about 35 due to take the stand during the committal hearing that started in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.

Police began investigating the alleged cold-calling scheme in 2013.

Webb is facing charges of fraud along with Kirsty Maria Lester, Patrik Rasmus Gorannson and Charlie Mikael Gorannson.

Travis Charles Burch, Robert John Doueihi, Nicholas John Forbes, Vincent Alexander McDonald, Natchamon Srisunanrat, Douglas Owen Traynor and Jason Troy Trouchet are charged with fraud and money laundering.

The hearing is set down for three weeks.
