MAFS’ Melissa Says She’s Still Copping DMs ‘Verbal Abuse’ On The Street In Emotional IG Story

MAFS 2021 star Melissa Rawson says she’s been subjected to tons of “abuse” from critics and trolls since joining the show.

In an impassioned Instagram Story, the reality star writes: “I’m sure that if you don’t like me and are a genuinely good person – you don’t follow me or comment. Simple. Unlike some who spew hate on my Instagram or send DMs threatening to harm myself or my partner.”

By partner, she is, of course, referring to Bryce Ruthven, and while I myself am not the biggest fan of his, threatening harm on someone is absolutely never acceptable.

She goes on to write that her “mental health is not okay” as a result of the ongoing “abuse” from trolls.

Melissa Rawson continued, “I am frightened everyday. I fear opening my social media, to be approached suddenly on the streat, fearing verbal abuse because of a recent post or comment made online. And I should not have these fears – not when there have been so many beautiful people who send sweet messages or comments and who have genuinely hugged me in the street out of sheer kindness.”

She concluded, “Enough is enough.”

A few days earlier, Melissa Rawson vowed to step away from social media to have a “break” to focus on her “mental health.”

“I’ve been off social media for a couple of days, just been on a bit of a break,” she said in a clip previously shared to Instagram.
