MAFS Grooms Roasted By Fans For Agreeing With Danny’s Opinion On Moving In With Bec

Married At First Sight‘s (MAFS) Danny Hewitt is getting absolutely reamed by fans for his stance on moving into Bec Zacharia‘s house, with some linking his views with controversial groom Tyson Gordon.

This article contains Married At First Sight 2026 spoilers. You’ve been warned.

Just when we thought we got all the f*cked language and views out of the experiment, with Chris Nield and Tyson leaving the experiment earlier in the season, Danny has come through with some views that have left our brides and some viewers shook. And unfortunately, it appears that some of his fellow grooms agree with his opinion.

You see, alongside taking issue with Danny’s inability to be serious during tough conversations about their relationship, it appears that Danny also has an issue with the idea of moving into Bec’s home in Adelaide.

And it’s not a distance thing, it’s the fact that it apparently makes him “feel like a b*tch moving in with a woman”.

“What are you on about?” Bec exclaimed while the other brides (and the experts) shook their heads in disgust with Danny’s language and opinion.

“He’s talking about feeling emasculated if she were the one who owned the house. And let’s not use the term ‘b*tch’ in that way either, Danny. Not cool,” Mel Schilling said.

In a confessional, Bec expressed how hard she’s worked to own her home and how he’s not a b*tch for moving in with her.

“Are we f*cking serious about this? We’re in the 2020s. Emmasculated by moving into a home with your woman. Let’s grow up,” Rachel Gilmore said in a producer-led interview.

But before Danny could get reamed some more, Scott McCristal came in to defend his fellow groom, admitting that he and Danny are men who like to feel like “providers”, with Gia Fleur adding that they’re “more traditional”.

“He wants to feel like the man,” Gia said in a confessional before Steve Danyluk also agreed…. and then David Momoh.

So… yeah, basically all the grooms just wanna be men and rah rah rahhhhhhhh. Fkn YIKES.

Anyways, In another confessional, Danny dropped the b-word again and how it makes him feel like less of a man moving into Bec’s home, which she owns.

Unfortuntately, for this duo, Danny still can’t handle the idea of moving into Bec’s home, making her uncertain about their future.

Unfortunately, for Danny and the grooms, many tied their recent opinions to Tyson, who’s arguably one of the most controversial grooms in MAFS history.

Others also were stunned about the outburts, as well as the other grooms agreeing with his opinions about being “the man of the house”.

IDK, with the current housing crisis, fuel crisis, everything crisis, I don’t think it makes you less than a man to move in your girl’s house.

As Rachel said, it is the 2020s, so that whole thought process and immediately going to “b*tch” is just so bizarre to me. Also if you wanna give provider vibes, there are so many other ways to show that???

Ugh, it’s just so odd to me.
