Just when you thought you had your sleep schedule under control, your screen time down and your work-life balance in check, Married At First Sight is back to mess it all up. That’s right, the reality TV show everyone loves to hate is returning with a brand new bunch of singles looking for love (and an influencer career) — and from what we’ve heard, MAFS 2026 is going to be the spiciest yet!
The 13th season premieres on Monday, February 2, with relationship experts Alessandra Rampolla, John Aiken and Mel Schilling returning to call the participants out on their BS. The season will also feature some spicy twists and turns, including the introduction of “Revelations Week” and a new spin on the controversial “Final Test Week”.
Before the madness begins and the first cheating scandal inevitably kicks off, Channel 9 announced the official cast on Monday — including a socialite, an ex-rapper, and a former reality star.
So, let’s get to know the brides and grooms who have signed up for the social experiment, shall we?
MAFS 2026 Brides
Alissa Fay
Alissa Fay, 33, is a nurse-slash-social media manager from SA who wears her heart on her sleeve and describes herself as “everyone’s hype girl”. She isn’t afraid to speak up (although she is trying to work on her blunt delivery), and she’s hoping to find her happily ever after her six-year relationship ended late last year.
As much as we want everyone to find love on this show, a recent teaser shows this might not be the case for Alissa as she seemingly rejects her groom at the altar. Messy!

Bec Zacharia
Bec Zacharia, 35, is an account manager from SA who describes herself as a loud, outspoken social butterfly and is never shy of being the centre of attention. Apparently, she is a local socialite in Adelaide and has been voted the city’s most eligible bachelorette not once, but twice. Ok humble brag!
Bec ended her last relationship four months before their wedding — which she says is her proudest achievement — and is looking for a tall man with tattoos and a beard. Surely the experts don’t need to look too hard to find someone who ticks off those boxes, right?

Brook Crompton
Brook Crompton, 27, is a model from Queensland who has been cheated on by almost every guy she has dated — so what hope do the rest of us have?! Despite being the youngest cast member, she is ready to settle down and start a family and is looking for a man who is tall, tanned, trustworthy and loyal.

Gia Fleur
Gia Fleur, 35, is a disability support worker from Victoria who believes she’s often misjudged for her blonde hair, implants, bold outfits and tattoos. She was previously married to the father of her child and has barely dated since her divorce.
The bombshell, who is tipped to be the main character this season, is determined to find a husband and isn’t interested in making friends along the way — which makes her the perfect guest at a MAFS dinner party.

Julia Vogl
Julia Vogl, 35, is a confidence and charisma consultant from Victoria who previously studied journalism and worked in London as an entertainment correspondent. She is bisexual and has had four serious relationships in her life, including three with women, but struggles to find the whole package with either sex.
What’s the bet MAFS’ producers will match Julia with a man but try to “tempt” her with a woman if she makes it to Final Test Week? Fingers crossed they don’t do this queen dirty.

Mel Akbay
Mel Akbay, 28, is a public servant who grew up in Canberra but recently moved to Sydney. She’s been single for the past six years, admitting that she can be quite picky, and feels like “time is running out” as she approaches 30.
She describes herself as bubbly, funny and cute, and says she’s “looking for a ‘blue’ man for her ‘pink’ self”, whatever that means.

Rachel Gilmore
Rachel Gilmore, 35, is a team leader from Victoria with maternal energy and a heart of gold. She hasn’t been in a serious relationship for 14 years and has never been with a man who made her feel attractive — so please, experts, don’t mess this up for her.
Rachel has a big personality and isn’t afraid to call out bad behaviour or stand up for what is right, which are pretty much the exact keywords MAFS producers are hoping to hear when casting.

Rebecca Zukowski
Rebecca Zukowski, 51, is a leasing manager from Victoria who describes herself as a vivacious, self-deprecating, no-nonsense fashionista. She was previously married and has a 19-year-old son who recently moved out of home.
Rebecca admits she has high standards and is looking for a man who oozes confidence and loves the finer things in life. It’s unknown if she is related to former Love Island star Matt Zukowski — who is heading into the jungle on I’m A Celebrity — although she does follow him on Instagram.

Stella Mickunaite
Stella Mickunaite, 32, is a beauty technician from NSW who moved to Australia nine years ago from Lithuania. She believes she can often be perceived as harsh or blunt due to the cultural differences in Australia, but she is actually extremely emotional and quite sensitive.
Stella is looking for a traditional relationship that is more common in Eastern Europe, where her partner is the protector and provider and makes the decisions. Well, we’ll have to wait and see what the experts think of that mentality.

MAFS 2026 Grooms
Chris Nield
Chris Nield, 31, is a construction supervisor from Victoria who claims to have recently given up his old partying and player ways and is ready to settle down. He describes himself as a “boy’s boy” without any platonic female friendships, and says his typical type is petite, brunette, naturally tanned, fit and “can’t be too needy”.
He’s found it difficult to compromise in past relationships and doesn’t believe he has any room to change now that he’s in his 30s. Oh, and he admits he’s “sometimes controversial for the sake of it” and “will bend and twist the truth” if he needs to avoid issues in the relationship. Sounds like a catch!

Danny Hewitt
Danny Hewitt, 34, is a tradie-turned-real estate agent and businessman who grew up in the UK and moved to Australia in his 20s, now living in Victoria. He admits he’s “lost a lot of great girls” thanks to his player ways, but is now looking for his ride or die partner.
He describes himself as loyal and not afraid to speak his mind, and firmly believes that a man should always put himself in front of a woman to protect her. Let’s see if this also applies to screaming matches across the dinner table.

David Momoh
David Momoh, 31, is an e-commerce product manager and self-described hustler who moved from Nigeria to Australia when he was 12 and currently lives in Queensland. He has never been in a relationship that has lasted longer than a year, and earned a playboy reputation thanks to his history of being a rapper.
Having grown up with both parents as pastors, he is looking for a woman who lives with faith or accepts his faith. Oh, and besides that, his ideal match is a fit woman “with a big booty and a small waistline”.

Filip Gregov
Filip Gregov, 37, is a carpenter who was born in Croatia and moved to Australia when he was two, now living in Victoria. He admits he can be picky and sometimes stubborn, but is hopeful that the experts can find his perfect match.
Filip is looking for a traditional relationship where men can take on the role as providers, so if only there were another European with similar views that he could be paired with…

Grayson McIvor
Grayson McIvor, 34, is the director of a recruitment agency in Queensland who initially dreamed of an AFL career before a series of serious injuries. He admits he was once a party boy but has since changed his ways and now wants to have a family of his own.
His ideal partner is a natural woman who is confident in her own skin and has a warm, adventurous, optimistic personality. Grayson is also a big believer in the MAFS experiment after seeing his best mate Johnny Balbuziente (aka one of the show’s few normal grooms) find love with his now-wife Kerry on the show in 2021, so fingers crossed for him!

Luke Fourniotis
Luke Fourniotis, 30, is a farmer from Victoria who seemingly signed up for the wrong dating show. He recently took over his late father’s cattle property and admittedly misses the fast-paced nature of city living.
He describes himself as a spontaneous, glass-half-full kind of guy who is always open to trying something new. Luke has struggled to commit to anyone following his father’s death, but is hoping to be paired with an optimistic, energetic, bubbly girl.

Scott McCristal
Scott McCristal, 33, is a business owner from Queensland who describes himself as a confident, car-loving adrenaline junkie. He runs multiple businesses and is looking for a woman who can support him while he works towards success.
While Scott has a boisterous persona and is often mistaken for a party boy, he is actually a softie at heart who admits he is lonely. He also previously appeared on Channel 10’s dating show Blind Date in 2018, as well as Million Dollar Island and Holey Moley — so let’s hope MAFS gives him the exposure he clearly keeps striving towards.

Steve Powell
Steve Powell, 50, is a creative director from Victoria who has made a career flipping pubs and hospitality venues. He was previously married and has four daughters, which he believes has helped him understand women and how to relate to them.
He admits he has been selfish in the past but is now looking for his forever person — ideally a sociable woman who enjoys going out and life’s simple luxuries. We’re rooting for you, Steve!
Instagram: @steverpowell

Steven Danyluk
Steven Danyluk, 34, is a marine technician from NSW and a self-described goofball. He was in a heavy metal band for most of his 20s and now runs his own company fixing boats.
Steven believes he has struggled to get a foot in the dating world and is hopeful that the experts will pair him with a woman who accepts him for who he is. His perfect partner is ambitious, easygoing, and won’t be offended by his jokes, which makes me very intrigued to learn about his sense of humour.

Are there any intruders on MAFS 2026?
As usual, these 18 singles are set to be joined by a handful of intruder couples later in the season — including a same-sex pairing.
How many couples will find love? Well, we’ll just have to wait and see.
