Married At First Sight Australia's Bronson Norrish has claimed he and the other stars of season six were not told the show would be airing in the UK before it began on E4.
The sixth season of the hit reality show was filmed back in 2019, so it no doubt came as a shock to Bronson and the other couples when they started receiving messages from UK viewers.
In an exclusive chat with The Mirror, Bronson said he only realised the UK were tuning in when he started getting DMs on Facebook and Instagram.
"No one warned us, no one warned me anyway," he claimed. "I just started getting bombarded with messages on my Facebook and my Instagram.

"It wasn’t until about halfway through, Channel 9 reached out and was like, ‘if you guys need to see a psychiatrist again, here’s a number'. So I think they were just covering their butts, so no one really warned us."
Bronson also alleged that the network threatened to make them look bad if they didn't contractually oblige to everything they had signed up to do.
UK viewers were shocked to see that Sam Ball was absent from the final reunion, and when asked if they are contracted to take part, Bronson said: "Absolutely."

"They do say, 'you’re under contract and you have to legally do it, if you don’t do it, we’ll sue you', or they can make you look like an idiot on TV - that's what they would threaten us with.
"I didn’t realise not rocking up was an option, otherwise I probably wouldn’t have rocked up either!"
"So I was quite surprised when Sam didn’t rock up. I’m not too sure how he got out of it," Bronson added.
"I think maybe things would have unfolded differently if he had of come because then he would have had his side of the story.

"Everyone has a different version of the story, you heard mine, you saw Ines say hers, but we never got to see Sam’s which was a bit upsetting because he might have put more light on the situation.
Sam was at the centre of one of the show's biggest dramas, as he got together with Bronson's wife Ines behind his back.
However, Bronson wasn't exactly heartbroken as Ines had treated him so badly and he still doesn't understand why he was coupled with her.

"I’ve actually never met anyone like that in my life, I didn’t think they existed. It was interesting that the experts picked her for me," he said.
"I think even throwing a rock into the ocean would have found me a better wife!"
Asked if there was ever a point in the experiment when he actually liked Ines, he replied: "“I tried my absolute hardest, I really did for the first three days.

"I took a lot of her crap and thought, 'that's probably just her, she’s nervous, maybe thats how she goes around people that she doesn’t know', and after the third day of being heckled and abused, I was like, 'well actually maybe she’s just not a nice person'."
Bronson continued: "We never slept in the same room together, thank God! Living in separate apartments was a Godsend. It would be like being locked in a room with a tiger!"
However, he was surprised to see Ines in tears at the reunion show - when she sat alongside Sam's wife Elizabeth Sobinoff.
"I didn’t really see her show any emotion apart from a nasty side, so I was very interested to see her cry," Bronson said.

Asked if he felt bad for her, he replied: "I don’t think anyone should be made to cry or feel bad, so I don’t want to see anyone cry."
Bronson is now in a happy and loving relationship with his girlfriend Hayley Wallis, and the couple can't wait to jet to the UK for a holiday.
"I’ve got a girlfriend now. I’ve been with her for about two years now, top lady," he said. "We do plan to come over to the UK very soon."
The Mirror has contacted Channel 9 asking for comment regarding these claims.
