Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2026 bride Bec Zacharia has called for her Instagram account to be reinstated, claiming it was taken down after she was “mass-reported” over an Australian Fashion Week scandal involving dress hire company, RESRVD.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, the viral 2026 bride expressed major concern over her livelihood after she lost her main IG account.
You see, during Australian Fashion Week, Bec claimed in an interview with The Gloss Podcast that she spent almost $20,000 on her wardrobe for MAFS, that they gave her “no budget” for fashion on the show and that she was the “only bride” to have bought clothes rather than hire.
However, quickly after the video was shared, Savannah, the owner of bridal dress hire company RESRVD, called Bec out, confirming she’d use their services for Final Vows in exchange for “exposure”.
But instead of being tagged on her main account (which boasts more than 76.3K followers), Savannah revealed that the bride had only tagged RESRVD on their burner, which only has more than 10.1K.
“There’s small businesses behind these television shows and the brides that are wearing them, and it is incredibly disappointing when a small business is not given the recognition that they are promised,” Savannah said.

Since then, the bride has claimed she has now lost her IG — which she said was her “only form of income” — due to the scandal.
“This is my only form of income, and that has now been taken away from me,” she told Daily Mail Australia.
“I am a small business now. All of the deals that I’ve got going on rely on me having my Instagram, and the hate that I’m getting every five minutes, I’m getting abuse,” she added.
The bride stressed that she didn’t mean any malice in her interview regarding her wardrobe for MAFS, and that she thought she’d met her obligations with RESRVD as they’d liked and commented on the post she tagged them in.
“I thought Savannah was happy because she had commented saying I look beautiful,” Bec continued.
“Having seen that Savannah was commenting on all of the press and media saying they dressed me for Final Vows, I was under the impression she was happy with what I did,” she said before adding she wished Savannah had reached out to her privately rather than call her out publicly.
“I wish there had been communication where she could have told me her grievances… I would have done everything to fix that for her,” Bec said.
“I’m not an influencer. I’m just a normal girl. I thought what I had done was satisfactory.”

Reflecting on the $20K claim in her Australian Fashion Week interview, Bec said the money was “over the whole four months” and included her looks from other parts of the experiments, like the Dinner Parties.
“I didn’t say I spent $20,000 on dresses. That’s not what I said,” she said.
“When I said I dressed myself, I curated my looks for commitment ceremonies, dinner parties, and accessories.
“It was never intended, not to mention my Final Vows wedding dress. It just didn’t come to mind in that moment.”
Bec is now calling for Meta to bring back her account, describing it as her “small business” and stressed that it’s her “livelihood”.
“I just need my Instagram back,” she said.

When Savannah first dropped her video last week, fellow MAFS and reality TV stars flocked to her comments section, showing her and RESRVD support.
“So disappointing! Her dress was so beautiful,” Abbie Chatfield commented on TikTok.
“It was a beautiful dress, so I hope the girlies online know it was from your brand. We deffs [sic] had a budget for final vows dresses as well, though, so unsure why the dress wasn’t just purchased instead,” Jamie Marinos wrote.
“Not OK! So sorry, my love, I posted a video showing support. Small businesses don’t deserve this,” fellow MAFS 2026 bride Gia Fleur penned.
After the video gained traction, Bec shared an apology on her main Instagram account, confirming her Final Vows dress was from Savannah.
“There was never any intention to overlook or disrespect Savanna and RESRVD, and I sincerely apologise that it came across that way,” Bec wrote in the post, which has since disappeared due to her account being taken down.
“In the chaos and emotion surrounding that time, I simply didn’t handle it perfectly.”
Savannah hasn’t responded to Bec’s most recent statements regarding the scandal and the state of her IG account. However, she made a video thanking everyone for supporting her business.
She also shouted out fellow dress hire company, Sustainably Dress Hire, which also rented out pieces to Bec and other brides during MAFS 2026.
