MAFS Australia's Jessika drops bombshell claim that one couple were together before show

Married at First Sight Australia's Jessika Powers has dropped a bombshell claim about one of the couples who appeared on the sixth series.

The blonde beauty - who was paired up with farmer Mark Gould on the 2019 instalment of the romance show but later started an affair with Dan Web b - has told that she believes lovebirds Cam Merchant and Jules Robinson knew one another before filming.

Even though there is no evidence to back this up, Jessika came out with the outlandish comments - which she calls a "conspiracy theory" during a conversation with Metro.

The reality TV personality said: "There’s no way you’re going to meet a complete stranger, do everything that we did, and completely love that person, every aspect."

"They never had one fight, they never had one disagreement, they never had anything. My conspiracy theory is that they were together before the show."

She continued: "Because Channel Nine that aired it, MAFS hadn’t had a successful couple story in a very, very long time. I feel that they needed to have that, so I think what they’ve done is they found a couple that were already together."

Shutting down Jessika's claims, a spokesperson for the couple told the publication: "I can confirm that Cam and Jules had never met before and all contestants genuinely took part in the experiment as strangers."

Cam and Jules have gone from strength to strength since being matched on the Down Under series.

After being paired up for the show, they got married in a legally binding ceremony.

Outside of the TV show, they have built a life together at their one million pound home in Sydney where the couple live with their four-month-old son Oliver.

Series six of Married At First Sight Australia has recently been released in the UK and has been gaining a lot of attention due to it being filled with heaps of drama.

Jessika's behaviour on the 2019 edition of the looking-for-love series has not gone down well with fans.

Scenes aired in which she selfishly kept her groom Mick Gould in the experiment - despite their failing relationship.

It was later revealed that she made Mick suffer so that she could hook up with Dan Webb - who was married to Tamara Joy.

She later continued on the show with Dan, but after the show wrapped he dumped her upon finding out that she had propositioned fellow MAFS groom Nic Jovanovic, several weeks earlier.

The footage of Jessika propositioning Nic was shown to Dan during a show reunion and he ended their relationship immediately.

Jessika told News.com.au : "He had seen the video of me saying I was sexually attracted to Nic, and his ego was hurt, he went, "Obviously we're not together now."

It is understood that Dan and Jessika reconciled shortly after but it was not meant to be as they then split for good.

Jess is now dating Filip Poznanovic and has told that she does not 'give a f***' what people say about her because her new boyfriend gets to see the 'real her'.

This week, Jess took to Instagram to share a number of very steamy posts with her beau Filip Poznanovic.

She defiantly captioned her snaps: "IDGAF what people have to say about me so long as he sees the real me that's all that matters #happy."

The pair are believed to have been dating for the past month.
