MAFS’ Adrian Araouzou Isn’t Done With Reality TV: ‘People Would Love To See Me’

Married At First Sight (MAFS) star Adrian Araouzou may have left MAFS as a bit of a controversial figure, but that doesn’t mean he’s done with reality television.

In fact, after whispers of fellow MAFS contestants attempting to land a gig on The Block, Adrian says he’d love to put on his hard hat too.

“I would love to do something like The Block with my twin brother [James] or Eliot [Donovan], if that was the direction they wanted us to do, like The Block would be cool,” Adrian told Chattr.

“My twin brother, especially because he’s exactly like me, he would make great TV. And you know, design being one of my main points, considering that’s what I do for a living, designing products would be cool, to be able to design our house.”

After his relationship with on-screen match Awhina Rutene blew up, he’s keen to step away from romance-based reality shows. Well, unless Love Island UK is on the table.

“Unless I got offered Love Island UK — I would consider that — and even then, I probably wouldn’t… but that’s a pretty big show… but I don’t think I’d ever do another dating show,” Adrian shares.

“But if the offer came, you know, I’d think about it. I would never say never, right?”

Ultimately, Adrian loved the experience of making reality television.

“Knowing what I know now, I really enjoyed my experience on the show and loved every minute of it,” Adrian said.

“Meeting the producers, like the whole set, Channel Nine, like no matter how the edit turned out, I was super grateful and had a super great time.”

If his dreams of Love Island UK or budding up with Scotty Cam on The Block don’t work out, Adrian says he’d be down to give The Amazing Race a go alongside — you guessed it — his brother James or Eliot.

“I think people would love to see my brother, me, or Eliot do something together, because we are very similar,” he explains.

“I think people can see I’ll be honest and tell the truth, that’d be interesting to watch.”

Truthfully, though, I don’t think this should come as a surprise. MAFS contestants seeking out other opportunities for clout is essentially a tale as old as time.

Who are we to hate the player when we should be hating the game? Either way, I hope the production companies prep the subtitles.
