MADURAI: State minister for finance, P T R Palanivel Thiagarajan, inaugurated a free vaccination camp in his constituency on Monday. Speaking at the camp, he said that it was heartening to see people coming forward to get vaccinated, which would go a long way in helping to control the spread of Covid-19. Earlier, there was a lot of hesitation among the public to get the vaccines, but now they are coming forward to get the jab and the demand has risen, he said. Vaccines are the solution to this pandemic and the better the community is vaccinated, the higher the level is of protection against the disease, he added.
