Madrid weather forecast for Champions League Final as Reds fans set to bask in 33-degree heat

Thousands of Liverpool fans will be heading to Madrid next weekend for the Champions League final - and they'll need to pack their sun cream.

Madrid is set to be absolutely scorching next weekend - with highs of 33 degrees C predicted for next Saturday , according to the Met Office.

Fans arriving earlier in the week for the game will have the opportunity to top up their tan, with wall to wall sunshine and highs of 30 degrees C predicted for the Spanish capital.

And for those Reds who will be watching the game at home, the weather forecast isn't to be sniffed at either.

On Saturday there are highs of 19 degrees C predicted for Liverpool, perfect for those planning to have a few drinks in the sunshine ahead of kick off at 8pm.

There's no rain predicted for the whole day, with sunny spells forecast throughout.

Thousands of fans are set to make their way to the Spanish capital this week, with many direct flights out of John Lennon airport fully booked.

Other fans will be flying indirectly to Madrid, stopping off in European cities, before reaching their final destination.

National Express have put coaches on from Liverpool to Madrid and many other people are planning to just head down in their cars.
