Proud mum Madonna gave fans a treat when she decided to upload arty snaps of her son - instead of racy snaps of herself - onto her Instagram account today.
The 21-year-old wouldn't have looked out of place in a 1950 black and white Hollywood movie as he posed in a white t-shirt and fashioned his hair into a quiff in the captures.
In the retro photoshoot Rocco, who is Madonna and ex-husband Guy Richie's son, breaks into a slight smile as he gazes away from the camera.
The 63-year-old shared the image on her Instagram page with the caption: "California son".
Rocco appeared to have ditched his signature look of suit and flat cap, potentially inspired by his dad's style, and opted for a more casual theme.
He holds a glass of what looks like juice and rolls his short sleeves up, revealing his muscular arms.
In another shot, the James Dean look-a-like faces away from the camera as he holds a suspicious-looking cigarette.
The mum-of-six is no stranger to posting photos of her children, and Rocco's moment comes after the singer was accused by fans of photoshopping herself into a snap of daughter Lourdes Leon.
The 25-year-old had posed for a cover shoot for PAPER magazine's January issue, where she wore heavy purple eyeshadow and a leather bikini.
But the Material Girl hitmaker decided to join her daughter and edited in a photo of herself in a LBD over a kinky bodysuit.
She shared the snap with the caption: "We’re in The Band!!!” followed by the hashtag #mybetterhalf.
In the original shot, Lourdes posed in front of model Zack Necht, who covered half his face with a skull-print snood.
But not everyone was impressed by Madonna's humour, with some fans ordering her to "please stop".
Another hit out at the singer's appearance: "Stop trying to look 20 years old. Whatever happened to ageing gracefully and with dignity?!”
A third said: ‘Other celebrities edit pics but not when they're 63 edited to look 20. Not one other celebrity does that.”
While a fourth simply wrote: “You are way too desperate. Please stop.”
She recently angered fans by posing with a knife in her mouth.
She defended the photos, calling them "art", but fans weren't happy about her use of the prop.
One fan added: “All the women suffering abuse and being murdered, and what you post is a knife to your throat. Disgusting message.”
Last month the singer shocked fans by posing racy snaps on the social media site and was even censored by Instagram for a nipple slip.
The images showed her posing around a bed whilst wearing a bra, thong, fishnet stockings and heels.
In two of the photos, the performer can be seen lying on a bed with her left nipple exposed - which she was later criticised for.

Another shot, taken from behind, shows her kneeling in front of the bed, with the thong leaving little to the imagination.
Fans branded the snaps "very sad" and "ridiculous", but that didn't seem to dampen Madonna's spirit.
