Madonna to perform at Eurovision in Israel and it's going to cost $1million

Madonna has signed up to perform at the Eurovision Song Contest in Israel next month and it's going to cost a whopping $1million.

The pop superstar, 60, has agreed to fly to Tel Aviv and take to the stage for a guest appearance during the show.

Her deal was confirmed by the European Broadcasting Union, the organisation behind Eurovision, and reports suggest it's going to cost a packet to bring Madonna in.

She's said to be bringing an entourage of 160 people and it's reportedly going to cost $1million (£766,840), which will be covered by billionaire businessman Sylvan Adams.

Madonna is said to be performing two songs during the show, one of her hits and a new song.

Reports suggest she's butted heads with Eurovision producers over the new track over its political messages.

The year before, former X Factor singer Lucie Jones finished in 15th spot with her = song Never Give Up On You.
