Madonna hits back at haters with sassy response over backlash from Eurovision

Madonna has hit back over fans claims her vocals were flat after her debut Eurovision Song Contest performance.

The Queen of Pop was blasted by critics for her performance , which included her hit track - Just Like A Prayer, with many saying she was singing out of tune.

But following the social media backlash the 60-year-old star has hit back herself with a sassy response to her haters on Instagram .

Sharing a snap of herself wearing her Madame X eye-patch and a diamond tiara, Madonna held her hands over her ears.

Then she captioned the picture: "Madame X Hears no Evil...............   #future     #eurovision   #madamex .

Social media lit up last night after the legendary singer took to the stage with an elaborate routine.

Another Eurovision fan Ellie Keegan tweeted: "Is this Madonna entry for Eurovision? Is she purposely being bad? Is she okay? Is she having a breakdown? Are we all going deaf? #eurovision

Some fans had also questioned whether Madonna was secretly trolling her hosts with two dancers wearing Israeli and Palestinian flags.

In the show host Graham Norton made a thinly veiled dig at the popstar, regarding her interesting choice of outfit.

But while the bookies' favourite stole the trophy from judges' favourite North Macedonia with his song Arcade, many British Eurovision fans' hearts went out to Michael Rice.

The British entrant got just three points from the public vote. Despite a bit more support from the judges, the UK finished last overall.

The BBC's commentator Graham Norton said  Michael, a Craig-from-Corrie lookalike who is just 21 , needed "a hug" after his pitch-perfect performance got trampled under the weight of European-wide public opinion.
