Madonna gives preview of new album in surprise Times Square pride concert

  • Madonna kicked off Pride Month with a surprise performance in Times Square , New York, giving a preview of her forthcoming album, Confessions II .
  • The pop icon performed a six-song set, including hits from her Grammy-winning 2005 album, Confessions on a Dance Floor , and new tracks.
  • The event, live-streamed on YouTube , featured vibrant rainbow lights and screens displaying images of LGBT+ trailblazers such as Marsha P Johnson and Keith Haring.
  • New material from Confessions II included “I Feel So Free”, “Bring Your Love” (featuring Sabrina Carpenter), and “Love Sensation”.
  • This event is part of Madonna's ongoing partnership with the LGBT+ dating app Grindr.
