Madonna European tour 2023: More tickets go on sale for O2 Arena with two new dates added

Madonna has added more dates to her UK run of her global tour, The Celebration, following phenomenal demand.

The Vogue singer will now be performing live over four dates in the UK later this year. More than 170,000 fans queued online via Ticketmaster this morning (January 20) to try and get tickets to see the Queen of Pop, despite the O2 Arena in London, where she is performing, only having capacity for 20,000 fans.

Many fans were left disappointed as they got to the front of the queue only to find tickets were either sold out or at an extremely low availability. A call for more dates from fans was meet with Madonna announcing that she will be playing at the O2 Arena for a further two nights. It comes after the Holiday singer announced a second date last night, on October 15, 2023.

One fan said: "Seriously could cry... how has it become like this where we can no longer afford entertainment."

Prices for seated tickets were from £47.55 with fees, going up to £432.55, while VIP packages started at £729.75 and went up to £1,307.75.

Produced by Live Nation, the global tour will kick off in North America on Saturday, July 15th at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC with stops in Detroit, Chicago, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and more before making its way to Europe where she will hit 11 cities throughout the autumn including London, Barcelona, Paris, and Stockholm, among others. The Celebration Tour will wrap in Amsterdam, NL on Friday, December 1st at Ziggo Dome.

Speaking about the tour, Madonna said: “I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for."
