Madonna delights fans with 'The Celebration Tour' with show in UK

After days of speculation Madonna has announced a new world tour and UK fans will be able to see her live in London this year on Saturday, October 14 at London's O2 Arena.

As the name suggests 'The Celebration Tour' is in honour of her upcoming 40 year anniversary, highlight some her greatest hits from 'Like A Virgin' to 'Material Girl'. Fans don't have long to wait as ticket sales start the end of this week, including three different pre-sales.

Fans who have a Legacy membership can join the first pre-sale this Wednesday, January 18 at 9am on Ticketmaster, then the pre-sale will open for fans who have access to O2 Priority at 11am. The following day on Thursday, January 19 fans who sign up to Live Nation can buy pre-sale tickets.

Fans buying pre-sale tickets must buy the access links in either of the above platforms, and enter the unique pre-sale codes into Ticketmaster on the day of pre-sale. The general onsale starts on Ticketmaster at 10am this Friday, January 20, and is expected to sell-out within minutes.

The London show is the only confirmed UK date on Madonna's world tour, with fans from around the UK, including Manchester, having to travel to the show. Other dates nearby include Paris, Barcelona, Stockholm and Amsterdam.

If it's anything like Madonna's 1987 tour in support of 'Who's That Girl' the single London show will likely sell out within seconds.
