Madness on the Downs: Hour-by-hour weather forecast as ska legends come to Bristol

They might sing about a Grey Day - but Madness can expect glorious sunshine when they take to the stage in Bristol.

Madness will bring their nostalgic ska anthems to The Downs today (Sunday, September 1).

Doors open at 1pm and the event will finish at 9pm. The Outlook Orchestra and Trojan Soundsystem will perform before Madness bring proceedings to a close.

The Met Office predicts fans can expect a sunny day in Bristol throughout the entire day, with a few clouds appearing from 12pm to 5pm.

Temperatures should peak at 18C from 2pm to 5pm, and the chance of rain is rated at below five per cent for most of the day.

By the time Madness arrive on stage, temperatures are likely to be around 15C.

Iconic frontman Suggs told Bristol Live this week he feels Madness will be "going into a battle, but in a good way" on The Downs.
