BHOPAL: To encourage Indian players participating in the Tokyo Olympics 2020 and to promote the Olympic moment in Madhya Pradesh, under the Road to Tokyo campaign, sports minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia inaugurated Selfie Point at her residence in Bhopal. These selfie points will be installed at prominent places in Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior and Jabalpur.
Sports department has launched a special campaign to inform citizens about the Tokyo Olympics. Several events like selfie points, quiz and others.
Sports department officials said that activities like debate, dialogues, talk shows, seminars, felicitation of athletes and their parents, quiz, selfie points, fan engagement, social media amplification and others are being organised since June 23.
Debate, dialogue and talk shows are being organised from June 23 to July 10. “This will include calling experts like former Olympian, sports journalists, sports personalities, conduct webinars on Olympic history, current affairs and other topics, publish and share events on official portals and others,” said a senior official of the department.
