BHOPAL: A total of seven new Covid-19 cases were reported in the state on Saturday taking the count of cases reported so far in the state to 7,92,143. There were a total of 79 active cases in the state as on August 28.
New cases were reported in single digits from all the districts of the state. And no new case was reported from 48 districts of the state. Besides, only one case each was reported from two of the four districts where new cases were reported.
Maximum cases were reported from Bhopal district where three new cases were found, followed by two in Dhar districts and one case each was reported from Indore and Raisen districts.
On Saturday, positivity rate of 0.009% was reported. Around 73,671 samples were tested of which 7 were found positive — on an average one person out of every around 10,000 who were tested, was found to be positive.
