BHOPAL: Amid humid and sultry weather, intermittent spells of rain continued in Bhopal on Wednesday. A similar weather prevailed in other parts of Madhya Pradesh too.
Officials of the meteorological department, Bhopal circle said, there is a low pressure area over north-central MP along with a cyclonic circulation over Gujarat. Monsoon trough between south Gujarat and MP is passing over from Shajapur which could bring a wet spell in the state, the officials added.
Day temperature in Bhopal was 29.3 degree Celsius, two degrees below the normal mark, while night temperature was high at 24.2 degrees which was two degrees more than the normal mark.
The places that recorded showers between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm were Sidhi (55mm), Mandla (49mm), Satna (24mm), Hoshangabad (23mm), Pachmarhi (22mm), Khandwa (21mm), Bhopal city (16.6mm), Jabalpur (12.2mm), Malanjkhand (11mm), Damoh (11mm), Indore (9.9mm).
Cloudy sky with possibility of rain is likely in Bhopal on Thursday. The Met office has issued warning of heavy showers was issued for several places in the state.
